Google Fast Share

Few months ago there were some reports that Google may launch a new file sharing feature for Andriod that would be called Fast Share. This feature will be alternative to the Android Beam as well as alternative Apple AirDrop.

For many years iPhone has remain leader over Android in all departments. But now the Android has become very successful to narrow the difference between both. There are still many features that android has not launched but iPhone has already and vice-versa.

This time Google is trying to develop the same feature as AirDrop in iPhone for sharing files with devices nearby just like Shareit App. This feature of Google will be named as “Fast Share” or “Nearby Share”. The functionality of this app will be same as AirDrop of iPhone.

In the month of January there was a report that Google is working on file sharing feature for Android, the AirDrop alternative. And now the news comes out that the proposed feature “Fast Share” is integrated with Android 11 version. If this feature releases with Android 11 then this will be ad added advantage of Android users who are waiting for it eagerly.

With the help of this Android feature you can send documents, photos and videos to the other mobiles or devices with the help of Bluetooth. The Bluetooth initiate a connection and then file transfer will be over a direct Wi-Fi instead of Near-field communication, which enables it to transfer larger files faster than Android Beam. This Google Fast Share will work same as AirDrop feature of Apple’s iPhone.

Furthermore there is no clue about the release of Android 11. Currently it would be delayed due to Coronavirus spread worldwide but though expected to be launch as soon as the Covid-19 effect downs.
