YouTube dark mode functionality is relatively new, by using the app it can make a big difference in your daily experience using the app. It reduces the glare on screen and looks cool while searching videos at night, also there’s a chance it could save a little battery power. You Tube has launched the dark mode (Youtube Dark Mode) recently and parallel with Gmail dark mode.
Here we are going to discuss to switch the mode. It is more easy than switching dark mode in WhatsApp, Instagram or dark mode in Facebook Lite.

How to Activate Dark Mode in YouTube:
To activate dark mode in YouTube, as you can see in given screen, you have to click on channel icon at right corner.
After clicking on it you will show a dropdown menu option named Dark theme: off. Clicking on this option you will be switch to dark mode.

How to Activate Dark Mode in Chrome :
Probably the dark mode setting becomes activated in YouTube through process mentioned above but the browser still shows bright. In this condition you have to follow the below steps:
In Windows, to activate dark mode in chrome browser you have to open chrome browser, click on Apps on left corner given dotted colors in square form or go to chrome://apps/ then click on web store and select Dark theme.
In macOS, go to System Preferences then click on General and then Appearance and click the Dark option.
