Samsung has announced a brand new fold-able smartphone in an advert during the Oscars on Sunday night. The new fold-able device was not given a name during the ad, but it is rumor that the name is “Galaxy Z Flip.” the corporate will announce more details during its event on February 11, 2020 where the corporate is additionally expected to reveal its new premium flagship smartphone. Samsung has not uploaded the pics of the device yet.

From the looks of it, it’ll have a dual-lens camera system on the rear, and also the exterior of the phone contains a tiny screen next to the camera for quick bits of data and notifications. It also appears to be touch-sensitive. The ad showed how a user could swipe on the small exterior screen to answer a telephone call.
From the ad, it’s suggested the new fold-able are going to be able to prop itself up and keep its half-open position for hands-free video calls. It also appears the new Samsung fold-able contains a gap between its two halves when it’s folded shut, which could be a carry-over from the Galaxy Fold’s design. To mention that the Motorola has developed a hinge between halves that make it without gap.
There was also fine print towards the underside right of the ad when it aired, which said: “You may notice a crease at the middle of the most screen, which could be a natural characteristic of the screen.” Indeed, Samsung’s Galaxy Fold had a visual crease where the screen folded, which matches to point out just how nascent foldable smartphone screen technology is at the instant.
